Who is advanced driver training for?

Everyone who recognises the benefits of increasing their skill level, safety, confidence, economy and enjoyment of day-to-day driving. The very fact that you have read this far suggests that this means you!
Advanced driver training is not only for people who already enjoy their motoring and want to develop their skill to a whole new level; it is equally suited to those who feel at all intimidated, nervous or uncomfortable when at the wheel.
Even experienced drivers can become involved in other people’s mistakes on the road. How often do we hear people tell us of an accident that wasn’t their fault? Most accident situations are avoidable, regardless of blame, and our training will show you how to escape other drivers’ accidents; including being hit from behind.

Why is it necessary?

On average, 7 people were killed on UK roads every day in 2008.
According to the Health & Safety Executive, it is estimated that up to a third of all road traffic collisions involve someone who is at work at the time. This may account for over 16 fatalities and 250 serious injuries every week. If your job requires you to drive a substantial amount, you really should consider taking an advanced driving course.
Whilst no amount of training can eliminate all risk, high quality advanced training certainly reduces risk very substantially.

What does advanced driver training involve?

Fun! Let’s be clear from the outset, we believe that training has to be fun to be memorable and properly beneficial. That is why all of our specialist instructors are carefully selected as much for their character and wheelside manner as for their talents as trainers. Add to that their depth of knowledge and broad experience, and they are amongst the very best the industry has to offer.
We will work with you in your own car, addressing any particular concerns or weak areas you may have and building on your strengths. Crucially, we will tailor the training to suit you, working at your own pace to ensure that you achieve what you want. We will take you to whatever level of skill you aspire to; providing you have the aptitude to match your ambition.
Our standard duration courses last for 1, 2 and 4 days; and you are welcome to share the training with a partner or friend if you wish.
The 2 and 4 day courses culminate in the stringent All Road Training advanced driving test, the result of which determines your degree of insurance discount.
Our trainer can either come to you, or meet you at an agreeable location that is convenient for you.
